LGBTQ Style Tips With Lexie Peters @lexiepeterss

At MNSTRM we love the LGBTQ community and strive to highlight the unique style of queer women all over the world. We reached out to our favorite fashion forward influencers to get the inside scoop on their wardrobe, styling techniques, and more.

Today we have an interview with Lexie Peters (@lexiepeterss), a passionate creative who won't ever stop chasing her dreams or inspiring others to do the same (she also has some dope dance moves). We are so excited to hear her style tips because her outfits are on another level!

Who are you and what is your passion?

Hi, I am Lexie and to be honest I'm a very passionate person so it's easy for me to find passion in almost everything I do. Dance, Modeling, Creative Directing, and so much more, but my true passion is making people feel good enough to just be themselves... ALL THE TIME!

You have 60 seconds to put together an outfit. What do you wear?

If i only have 60 seconds i will probably be in sweats but stylish? Maybe layer a hoodie with a flannel or a jacket.. with cool kicks?
Or i would just wear a classic "Lexie" outfit that i've worn 100 times before because i get stressed when styling new stuff! lol

What's your #1 tip for putting together a cohesive look?

My #1 tip is actually something one of my ex's taught me in fashion... BALANCE. Whether It's the colors or layering, an outfit needs to have some sense of balance.

What's your current favorite article of clothing?

My favorite article of clothing currently is my unreleased Toca Nation hoodie. (that's my brand and the hoodie stands for dreamers who can't sleep because they're so passionate about chasing their dreams, there is no time to waste!) I like to wear clothing with a meaning.

How does clothing fit into your every day life?

Clothing fits into my everyday life depending on my mood.. Some days I'm feeling super swaggie and other days I'm feeling like a bad bi+c#.
I like to express both my masculine and feminine energies in my everyday fashion because that represents who I am.

What's a style or trend that you just don't understand? What's a style or trend you wish you could bring back?

I feel like there is no such thing as a style I don't understand because fashion is like personalities.. Everyone is different, therefore everyone will dress differently. There is no "alpha" or "specific" way to dress. I think all styles make a comeback one way or another. I think the 20's were a super cool era (one that i haven't seen come back yet, but maybe we all just need a gatsby party to attend lol)

Who do you look at for fashion inspo or advice?

I look at a lot of different people for fashion inspo.. mostly pinterest though.

Where can we find you? (social media)

You can find me anywhere @lexiepeterss! Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube, Snapchat, and even the new website Candi all synced with the same @ :)
